- The "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" Fundraiser began in October of 2011 by two friends; Michelle DeMello and Lindsay Ayers. Jacky's Galaxie donated the venue for this event. The 2nd Annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" Fundraiser will he held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 6pm-9:30pm at Jacky's Galaxie, 383 Metacom Avenue, Bristol, RI. All the proceeds from this event will go to the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" to help fight this deadly disease! Local vendors will be there for your shopping pleasure. Come check out the vendors, have a drink, and spend some time with great friends in our community. Anyone interested in being a vendor or donating to the American Cancer Society, please feel free to email us at: makingstridesfundraiser@gmail.com. All donations should be made payable to: "The American Cancer Society"

THE EXCITEMENT IS ON......
Wow! We are so excited. We are only four days away from out 2nd Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Fundraiser!!! We have a total of 25 vendors, which is more than we had last year! The floor plan is done and we can't wait to reach our goal. Our goal is to give the American Cancer Society between $1,000 to $2,000 from this fundraiser! Donations will be accepted at this event so please let every one know. Every penny counts when fighting this deadly disease. Let's support a great cause and make this a successful event! This event is a great opportunity for our community to shop through our vendors while supporting a great cause. We have raffle gifts to be given away! Stop by on Wednesday, October 17th, 2012 from 6-9:30pm at Jacky's Galaxie on Metacom Avenue in Bristol, RI. Hope to see you there!!!!
